How to block annoying ads in Opera GX
To turn on the feature on desktop, just click the shield icon next to your address bar and toggle on Block ads. You can also enable or disable ads from the Easy setup menu or directly in your Settings (Alt+P). This is how you block ads in style!

How to display ads on specific pages
Some websites get cranky about ad blockers and won’t let you in unless you disable them. But hey, you don’t have to turn off your Ad Blocker entirely! With Opera GX’s free built-in Ad Blocker for desktop, you can unblock ads for that specific site while keeping those annoying ads blocked everywhere else.
On desktop, just click the shield icon next to your address bar and select Turn off for this site – this adds the site to your exceptions list.
You can block annoying ads while still letting ads through on the sites you choose. When the Opera GX Ad Blocker feature is on, you can also manage your exceptions list in Settings (Alt+P). Under Privacy protection, select Manage exceptions.
Add a site by clicking Add, and remove sites through the three-dot menu next to each site. With these options, you have complete control over when you block ads and when you allow them. You can remove ads from your browsing experience while keeping some sites unblocked. Easy peasy.
