OperaShow: Frequently Asked Questions
Questions
- Can I insert HTML in the Opera Show Generator?
- HTML and CSS can be used in the input fields in the Opera Show Generator, but be careful, as no syntactic checking will be performed on the server side. When invalid HTML is used, Opera will give a parsing error and will not display the Opera Show page correctly.
- The Opera Show Generator does not seem to work in my browser, what should I do?
- The generator should be guaranteed to work with newer versions of Opera (you can download the latest version here), but it works with other up-to-date browsers as well. If you are having problems, check to make sure that JavaScript is enabled in the browser settings (in Opera, simply press F12 to access the quick preferences).
- Why does Internet Explorer give a download dialog when I try to create a presentation?
- The presentation is served as
application/xhtml+xml, which is not supported by Internet Explorer. - Why are animation effects slow?
- Animation effects can be slow when transparent PNG images are used.
