Running Opera with Clean Preferences

Open a terminal and type: opera -personaldir ~/operaTest.
This will create a directory called operaTest/ in your home directory which Opera will use for the remaining session. Your original settings, stored in /home/<unsername>/.opera/, will not be read nor overwritten.
