Using quick reply for e-mail conversations

"Quick reply" is a useful feature for chat-like conversations. With quick reply, you can type a short text that will be added to the top of the original quoted message. When you are viewing a mail, type your message in the text box and click on the "Quick reply" button to send the reply. This will send the reply to all the recipients of the original e-mail.

If you do not wish to use quick reply, you can remove the quick reply box:

  • Open the panel and click on "Mail" to open a mail view
  • Click the "View" button in the tool bar in the mail view
  • Uncheck the "Show quick reply" option
