M2 Error - MailRootDir is empty - Engine Init() failed
The error "M2 Error - MailRootDir is empty - Engine Init() failed" usually means that:
- The "Opera6.ini" file (see for the location of this file) has a setting called "Mail Root Directory=", and it points to the wrong location. If this line does not exist in the file, add it under the section called "[Mail]", or create this section and add the "Mail Root Directory=" line below.
- The "accounts.ini" file in your mail directory (see "Help/About Opera" for the location) contains the wrong paths. If this file does not exist, try to take a backup copy of your mail directory, just in case, and then create a new account from "Mail/Manage accounts...". Have a look and see if you can access your mail after doing so. The error could mean one or both of these. Please check these files and make sure the paths that are defined are correct.
