Reporting bugs in Opera
If you think you have discovered a bug in Opera, you can report it using the Bug Report Wizard. For the bug report to be of use to us, we need some information. Please take the time to read more about how you can submit good bug reports.
A good bug report can speed up the process of having a bug fixed. A bad bug report might discarded if the person handling the bug report cannot reproduce the bug or understand what the bug reporter is referring to in the report.
Remember to be specific, and to include exact details on how to reproduce the problem.
Before you submit a bug report, please think about whether someone else might have reported it already. If it is a very obvious bug, chances are it has already been reported. No public list of known bugs is available at this time, due to the sensitive nature of the data in our bug tracking system.
By communicating with other Opera users, you can also find out if it is a known bug.
If a bug is being discussed in our forums or newsgroups, it is most likely already reported to us.
Note: Generally, unless additional information is needed, you will not receive a personal response, but your report will receive attention. Every single bug report is manually processed by Opera staff.
