Using the Courier (Calypso) e-mail client with Opera

To open Courier/Calypso when clicking "mailto" links in Opera, open the "Tools" menu, and then select Preferences > Advanced > Programs. Double-click on the "mailto" protocol entry, and select "Open with other application". Click the "Choose" button to locate the program file, for example:

C:\Program Files\calypso3\calypso.exe

Once you have found the program file, add the command line argument "/default /mailto %1" behind the program path in the "Open in other application" like this:

C:\Program Files\calypso3\calypso.exe /default /mailto %1

Note that Calypso is now being developed by Rose City Software, and is known as Courier.

Courier the e-mail client is not to be confused with the Courier e-mail server from Double Precision Inc.
