Opera Web Mail offers POP support for Premium users. If you want to use your Opera Web Mail Premium account with an e-mail client, you will need to ensure that the server settings reflect the following:

• Username: username:operamail.com#operamail.com
• Incoming Mail Server: pop3.operamail.com
• Outgoing Mail Server: smtpx.operamail.com

If your ISP is blocking port 25, an alternative port for outgoing SMTP is 587.

Please note that only subscribed Opera Web Mail Premium users have access to the POP service. Users with the free Opera Web Mail Basic service do not have access to POP, and will need to upgrade to Premium. Opera Web Mail does not offer IMAP support.

If you have a Basic account and try to download email via Opera Web Mail's POP server, you will see the error message "-ERR Login failed") Alter or delete the account you have set up in Tools > Mail and chat accounts.
