How to open or save e-mail attachments

If you receive an e-mail with an attachment, you should see this listed in the Attachments list, which is located on the Mail Header Toolbar. Clicking any attachment will present you with a list of options, including "Open" and different choices for saving.

You can easily find all attachments you have received in the "Attachments" access points, available in the Mail panel. Select from "Documents", "Images", "Music", "Video" and "Archives", and click on the access point you wish to open.

Note that the attachment view will only display images that are attached to the e-mail, not images that are meant to be displayed as part of the e-mail (inline images). These images will only be shown as part of the e-mail, and will have to be saved by right-clicking the image and selecting "Save image".

Due to a bug in Opera 9.00 and 9.01 it is not possible to save such inline images using "Save image". The solution to this problem is to upgrade to the latest version, available from opera.com/download/
