This dialog box opens when you try to retrieve a protected document. You must type in a user name and password to gain access.

By the time that you get this dialog box, you should have already received a user name and a password. If you don't know which password you should use, or the dialog box comes as a surprise, you should choose Cancel.

On some services, you can register yourself and choose your own user name and password. If you do choose a password, take care that this is not your normal user name and password. You should not use the same name and password for different services.

If you think that the document you are trying to get should be available to anyone, you need to contact the site's webmaster and ask them to remove the password protection.
