Problems adding new bookmarks
If you receive a dialog box that says something like this:
Could not save hotlist file.
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile\opera6.adr
Try again?
your bookmark file is probably write-protected. Please try this to solve your
problem:
- Open a My Computer window, without closing Opera, and navigate to the bookmark file. The location of the bookmark file should appear in the dialog box with the error message.
- Right-click the file, and choose "Properties".
- Make sure that the "Read-only" check-box is not checked, and click "OK".
- Switch back to Opera, and click "Yes" in the dialog box.
