Opera Software grows in Poland: International Web browser company celebrates the Warsaw office opening

Warsaw, Oslo — June 2, 2009

Today Opera Software officially inaugurates its second office in Poland. The new R&D center will be situated in Warsaw. With this new office, the number of talented Opera engineers in Poland grows to more than 150. They will deliver the world famous browser to leading consumer electronics manufacturers and telecom operators and solidify Opera's commitment to Polish users.

“Two years after the official opening of the Wroclaw office, the Warsaw R&D center expands Opera’s ability to bring the best Internet solutions to Polish and worldwide users,” said Jon von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software. “We are very satisfied that Opera Software is growing swiftly in Poland, where we have many loyal users”.

We have almost 40 employees in the Warsaw office at the moment, and we will keep growing,” he added.
