Opera Software today unveiled the beta of Opera Mobile 10 for Nokia and other Symbian/S60 handsets. Most notable in the new Opera Mobile 10 beta is a sleek design, which Opera first introduced to the world in the recent release of Opera Mini 5 beta. The crisp, new look introduces the Speed Dial, tabbed browsing and the always convenient password manager to Opera Mobile. Opera Mobile 10 beta is optimized for both touchscreen and keypad-style navigation and is available for free from http://www.opera.com/mobile/next/.
No need to fear the monthly mobile bill anymore: consumers in the top ten countries save approximately 8.1 billion USD per year using Opera Mini, according to Opera’s State of the Mobile Web report for September 2009.
On October 27 and 28, 2009, Opera Software will gather with the greatest minds in the mobile industry at the Symbian Exchange & Exposition (SEE) in London. Opera will exhibit its Opera Mini and Opera Mobile Web browsers running on an array of devices at booth 82. Contributing to the event’s goal of sharing, creating, networking and learning, Opera’s own Mobile Product Manager, Igor Netto, will be addressing SEE attendees on the topic of “How to add value in an open mobile ecosystem”.
