At the Symbian Smartphone Show’s annual display of progress and innovation in the mobile world, Opera Software will exhibit its wealth of Web wonders at booth #25. In addition to its demo-filled exhibit, Opera CEO Jon von Tetzchner will speak during today’s "Innovate Collaborate Accelerate" seminar from 3:30 – 4 p.m. on the topic of "Widgets and the one-click mobile Internet experience".

During this two-day event, Opera-powered devices will be readily accessible to Smartphone aficionados looking to challenge their assumptions about the mobile Web. Visitors will want to get their hands on the freshly launched Opera Mobile 9.5 beta with Widgets. Widgets create a way for users to personalize mobile Web content and allow one-click access to these online favorites.
"Opera has long made development on the Symbian platform a top priority. We have recently made available our mobile browser with Widgets for the Symbian-based UIQ platform and we intend to release this browser for Series 60 phones in 2009," says Jon von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software. "Our membership in the Symbian Foundation is also key to drive development on this mobile platform."
Smartphone Show visitors will experience Opera Mobile 9.5 beta Widgets firsthand on:
