Norwegian Opera Attendance Increasing

Pro Soft to distribute and market Opera in Scandinavia

Ringsted, Denmark and Oslo, Norway - June 27, 2002

Pro Soft and Opera Software ASA today announced a sales and distribution agreement for Opera's desktop browser for Windows, Mac OS and Linux in Scandinavia.

Pro Soft will market and sell the popular browser to target groups like home users, schools and companies in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Finland.

"We are proud to have been chosen as Opera's distributor in Scandinavia," says Stig Andersen, Prosoft. "Opera Software's continual focus on quality throughout the product cycle, has made Opera to the most exciting browser on the market."

Opera has had a tremendous growth in users over the last year, especially in Northern and Central Europe. With Pro Soft joining the effort, Opera Software expects to see a sharp increase in the numbers of users in Scandinavia over the coming months.
