Opera Software Releases 3.60

Boasts significant enhancements and top-rated CSS support

Oslo, Norway - May 12, 1999

Opera Software A/S is proud to announce the final release of Opera 3.60. This new version boasts significant enhancements and top-rated CSS support. As in previous versions, Opera 3.60 continues to be the smallest, fastest and most flexible web browser on the market today.

Opera 3.60 offers users speedy web browsing with faster handling for JPEG and GIF images as well as improved support for HTML and Java script. Opera 3.60 also comes with an updated user interface design and two new button sets which are easily changed based on user preferences.

Opera continues to empower web site designers with even more control over sophisticated web page designs through the use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Opera's recently top-rated CSS implementation has been improved in Opera 3.60 in an effort to further merge standards-compliance, sophisticated features and simple design in a 1.3 MB download file.
