Download

Go to m.opera.com/mobile on your mobile phone, and click the Download Opera Mobile 10 beta button to start the 4MB* file transfer. If you prefer to download on a computer, click here.

Install

Typically, once the file has downloaded to your mobile phone, you will be prompted to install Opera Mobile 10 Beta. Follow the installation prompts on your phone.

Browse

Ensure your device has an active data connection, such as the carrier data connection (EDGE, 3G, 3.5G) or a local Wi-Fi access point. Now, you are ready to use Opera Mobile 10 Beta. For more information on how to use Opera Mobile 10 beta, click here

Alternative download methods

Installation by Bluetooth

  1. With the browser on your computer, download the Opera Mobile 10 file from www.opera.com/mobile and save the file to your local system.
  2. Make sure your computer and phone have bluetooth switched on.
  3. On Windows PCs right-click the Opera Mobile 10 file and select the option “Send by Bluetooth”. On Mac PCs, click the bluetooth icon in the system menu bar at the top of the screen, and select the saved file to send.
  4. Choose your mobile phone, and accept the file when you get the dialog on the phone screen.
  5. When the file has been sent, follow the user prompts to install the file. On Symbian phones, you can go directly to the messaging inbox and click the Opera Mobile 10 file. On Windows Mobile phones the file is saved on the phone. Navigate to the Opera Mobile 10 file using the file-browser application on your phone. Installation will start when you click the file.

Installation by memory card

  1. With the browser on your computer, download the Opera Mobile 10 file from www.opera.com/mobile, and save the file to your local system.
  2. Take the memory card from the phone, insert the card into your computer memory card reader and copy the downloaded file to the memory card.
  3. Insert the memory card back into your phone, and navigate to the Opera Mobile 10 file, using the file-browser application on your phone. Installation will start when you click the file.

Phone connected to a computer with a cable

  1. With the browser on your computer, download the Opera Mobile 10 file from www.opera.com/mobile and save the file to your local system.
  2. Connect the device to your computer with the USB cable or similar cable.
  3. If you are prompted to choose mode, select “Mass Storage” on the phone.
  4. Copy the file from your computer to a location on your phone you will remember.
  5. Disconnect the phone once the file has been transferred.
  6. Using the File Manager application on the phone, navigate to the file and start installation by clicking it.
