Based on testing performed by Opera Software, this device supports Opera Mini 3 Basic.

Known issues with Opera Mini

This phone has very limited (heap) memory. It seems that some versions of the C55 will run Opera Mini, but others will report "out of heap memory!" upon startup. Hence there are no guarantee that Opera Mini will run on your C55.

Install via mobile download

  1. Point your phone's WAP browser to http://mini.opera.com/ and click on Download Opera Mini.
  2. Answer 'Yes' to all installation messages and enjoy browsing the full Web, right on your mobile phone!

Problems connecting? Make sure your phone is correctly set up for Internet access.

  1. Select preferred language for Opera Mini:
  2. Transfer these files to your phone, and install them according to your phone's installation procedure:
    opera-mini-basic-us.jad

Note to North-American users

Opera Mini is available to all Sprint and Cingular customers. Availability for T-Mobile customers is dependent on the subscription plan. BREW-enabled phones, including Verizon, are currently not supported.
