Opera version 7.51 is now available for download.

Security

Restricted image size in address bar, page bar and page/window cycler. This addresses issue reported in GreyMagic security advisory GM#007-OP: wide favicons could cover URL in the address line.

Miscellaneous

• Various stability improvements
• Redirecting links correctly marked as visited
• Initial support for quoting selected text in messages
• Solved problem with duplicate addresses when using "Reply all"

Mac-specific

• Initial support for Liveconnect
• Support for IRC identd. On first login to an IRC server, Opera will start an identd server, and will ask for permission and root username/password to be able to start the server. Running servers on Mac OS X sometimes requires root priviliges, in accordance with OS X security policy
• Compatibility with URLManagerPro history.
• When an external e-mail application is defined, selecting "compose" in Opera will open a compose window in that application.
