Opera 10.54 for Mac is a recommended security upgrade. Opera highly recommends all users to upgrade to this version to take advantage of these improvements.

  • Auto-update removing an old installation before installing an update
  • Mouse gesturing with a right click incorrectly triggering context menus
  • Key event listeners aborting IME composition completion
  • Various on-IME-composition-completion problems
  • Opera not opening links from all third-party applications when Opera is not already running
  • Opera not releasing a mouse click when making selection from drop-down
  • Duplicate system fonts causing font slanting to break
  • IME select box appearing in the wrong position
  • Scrolling with the MacBook trackpad working three times faster than normal
  • Opera stealing window focus when displaying notification pop-ups

    • When getting icons from corrupt Opera Widget applications

    • On start-up when third-party applications change Opera's menus
