Technical Writer- Web Applications team

Are you a Web technology guru with a flair for words and love of language? Opera Software's Web Applications team needs a very technical Techincal Writer. The team is responsible for delivering developer tools like the Opera Widgets SDK and Opera Dragonfly as well as Unite Applications and Widgets. Our customers are web developers, end-users and many of Opera's high profile global customers.

Responsibilities

You will work with developers, testers, architects and project managers to gather information and write documentation, articles, tutorials, blog posts and presentations primarily directed at web-developers. Your work will cover products and technologies. You will collaborate with Technical Writers in other parts of Opera and with Opera's Developer Relations team.

Requirements

• An interest in standards based web technologies.
• Detail oriented.
• Superior English language written and oral communication skills.
• Good understanding of Web technologies including HTML, CSS and Javascript.
• Training as Software developer is a plus.
• Experience in technical writing.
