Mac OS Desktop Developers

Opera is seeking exceptional and experienced Mac OS Desktop developers to continue our innovation and growth in the desktop market. The desktop version of Opera is developed for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and UNIX platforms from a common code base. Opera for desktop is translated to many languages and has millions of users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and contribute in all parts of the software development life cycle.
  • Take initiative and ensure timely delivery.
  • Innovate, design and deliver new features and versions.

Requirements

  • Drive and commitment to work in a highly dynamic environment
  • Good working knowledge of English
  • Bachelor´s or master´s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Strong skills in C++ and a firm understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Experience in Mac OS X programming (both Cocoa and Carbon frameworks)
