Developer - Opera Mini
Location: Beijing, China, cn
Opera is looking for excellent software developers for our Opera Mini team. We use C++, C, Java and Pike in our systems.
Responsibilities
Participate and contribute in all parts of the software development lifecycle with our global team (Norway, Sweden, Poland and the United States).
Innovate, design and deliver new features and versions:
- Client: optimization for speed, memory usage, code footprint
- Server: development on large-scale distributed system
Requirements
- BS, MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field
- Solid knowledge of computer science
- Strong programming skills in one or more of: C++, C, Java, Python and Pike
- Enthusiasm and motivation for working with complex problems and browser technology
- Experience with optimization on embedded platforms for speed, footprint and / or memory
