Opera is seeking exceptional and experienced system developers to help develop and maintain Opera Mini statistics system and data warehouse. These systems are essential to support the phenomenal growth rate of Opera Mini.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Opera Mini statistics system and data warehouse.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Web standards.
- Experience with processing vast amounts of data and scalability.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Strong Python skills.
- Good working knowledge of English, written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of SQL,(X)HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Ideals (one or more)
- 3+ years of industry experience developing web applications and/or statistics
- Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) experience
- Experience with Hadoop and Apache
- Experience with Perl
- Experience with Java
