Project Manager for customer projects
Location: Linköping, Sweden, se
Opera is seeking exellent project managers to continue our innovation and market lead in mobile browsing on embedded devices.
Typical project consists of taking our state-of-the-art platform-independent browser technology and extend it to meet customer-specific requirements and to deliver it on handsets, embedded devices on time and to budget.
If you are motivated by challenging problems and are enthusiastic about browser technology we would like to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to specify detailed requirements
- Work with Opera experts to estimate efforts, time and quality
- Coach, lead and manage developers and QA personel to fulfill requirements and deliver products
- Report status, progress and risks to customers and internally
Requirements
- A good knowledge of and enthusiasm for web and mobile standards and technology
- Enthusiasm and motivation for working with world-class experts on complex problems
- Experience with software development and software developers
- Capable of using English as the working language
- Strong people skills
- Goal oriented and systematic
- 3-5 years of experience with project management
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
