Senior Account Executive - MEA Sales
Location: Middle East and Africa (MEA)
Location: MEA Region (South/North Africa/Dubai/UAE)
We are looking for someone who can join Opera’s Sales Team, effectively managing and expanding its relationships with mobile operators in MEA . This involves selling Opera products, specifically Opera Mini.
Responsibilities
Our success metrics are the following:
- Revenue through contract closing, bookings and billings
- Customer satisfaction
- Negotiate and close new deals with leading operators by selling Opera products.
- Manage key relationships with existing customers throughout the MEA region, with a goal of increasing revenue per customer and the reach of Opera’s products.
- Foster key relationships with middle- and top-management customers.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars and networking forums around the world.
- Sign new customers.
- Pioneer innovative commercial models to maximize profitability and differentiate our offering.
- Ensure growth in revenue from existing customers.
- Coordinate with Pre-Sales and Project Management to monitor ongoing delivery projects effectively.
- Engage with partners.
- Gather and use feedback from customers to contribute to the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Excellent track record and proven results in selling to mobile operators in MEA region
- Industry experience/knowledge, particularly in telecom and VAS
- Technically competent with adept knowledge of embedded software-delivery projects and Internet technologies
- Strong ability to communicate with all organization levels, including customer engineering teams and, particularly, top management for Tier-1-customers
- Experience in an international business environment involving global teamwork and cultural awareness
- Ability to travel frequently
- Creative and self-motivated team player
- Keen to work with the team behind the world's most innovative and respected Internet browser
- At least 5 years experience covering Sales/Business Development/Marketing activities involving operators, OEMs and VAS
- Enjoys a dynamic technical environment and new challenges
- Fast-moving individual, eager to win business and deliver results
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business and/or Engineering
