Opera Campus Crew

Are you a student or educator passionate about bringing Opera and Web standards to your campus?* Then become a volunteer member of the Opera Campus Crew, and join our team of 1000 Opera representatives at schools and universities in 60 countries around the world! The Opera Campus Crew is a community outreach initiative to spread the word about Opera and Web standards on campuses.

Membership in the Opera Campus Crew is open to students from all degrees and majors. Be the gateway between Opera and your campus!

What’s involved?

Here are the activities that Campus Crew members can participate in:

• Help us organize visits from Opera Software to your campus (selected universities only)
• Demonstrate Opera to other students on campus with presentations and Demo Days
• Lobby computer labs to install Opera, to ensure user choice
• Encourage your school or university’s Web design courses to adopt Web standards as part of their learning – we make it easy with Opera’s Web Standards Curriculum
• Contact your webmaster to ensure the campus website is consistent and accessible in all browsers
• Find out more about usage and attitudes toward the Web and Opera by interviewing people on campus
• Arrange articles about Opera in your campus media

* Opera Campus Crew membership is open only to enrolled students or staff at education institutions. Campus Crew members are not employees of Opera Software, and are not able to be involved in the development of the Opera browsers.
