Your security online has always been our highest concern. We want to move it another step forward, because we believe that privacy online is a universal right.

Recently, the SurfEasy team joined the Opera family, adding its VPN solution to our product lineup.

What is a VPN? Well, imagine that basic internet communication is like sending a postcard. Almost everyone can read it, the post officer, post truck driver and even your neighbor. You trust they won’t use your private information, but you can never be sure.

Using a VPN is like putting that postcard into a strongbox, which is then loaded into an armored truck, which drives on a highway inside a separate, concrete tunnel.

On computers, SurfEasy VPN is available for Windows and Mac.

Desktop32SurfeasyVPN

We’re also looking into more privacy opportunities within the browser now that SurfEasy has joined Opera.

Password synchronization

We’re introducing password synchronization in today’s release of Opera 32 for computers. So, now, you don’t need to remember all the passwords for websites you frequently visit. You can access them from another computer, as long as you remember your master password. For the time being, it will be available on desktop only, with a rollout on other platforms to come later this year.

password-sync

Animated themes

Do you feel like you want to have more fun with your Opera browser? No worries, now you can pick an animated theme to add a pinch of variety.

Clicked on the link for animated themes: “No results”

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

The server detects your Opera version to show the animated themes. So if you are on the lower version than 32, it won’t show you themes, because they are not supported in the browser yet.

Since we have the gradual update, I would recommend to go to opera.com and download the latest version.

      • http://www.jeroenheijster.com/ Jeroen Heijster

Hmm I run 32.0.1948.25 and it still can’t find any themes.

        • http://www.jeroenheijster.com/ Jeroen Heijster

It started to work now 🙂

          • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

            Good 🙂

  • YNWA bitches!

I´ve recently started to have pop-up issues while surfing. Klicking on an arbitrary link, sometimes opens some totally unrelated sites that WOT has red-flagged. I have tried Sophos and Malwarebytes but haven´t been successful in eradicating the problem. I use Opera on Mac, which makes this even stranger. Any tips will be welcomed.

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

What extensions do you use? Does it happen on regular window or private one?

      • YNWA bitches!

Thank you for replying. My extensions are: Ad-block plus,

        Facebook Redirect Fixer,

        Ghostery,

        Nimbus Screen Capture,

        Redirect Bypasser,

        SpeedDial for Gmail,

        Turn Off the Lights,

        Twitter Notifications,

        Twitter Redirect Fixer,

        Video Downloader 2015,

        WOT,

        YouTube Video,

        Mp3 Downloader and

        ZenMate for Opera.

I´m not often on private browsing but opened some 10 pages now and it didn´t happen.

        • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

it would be nice to know on what pages does it happen.

          • YNWA bitches!

This very page, colorline.no, youtube, brommando.com among others.

          • YNWA bitches!

It happens quite often on this page, just now, when I opened the Disqus chat screen, on colorline.no, youtube, brommando.com among others.

  • Apocalypse

Man. Just look at the changelog. Im really impressed. Animated themes? Yes thats what i was waiting for!! So 17 versions of Opera with Blink and I still cannot choose what to do. Open or save downloaded file. I cannot also change order of extension icons. Great job! Really…

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

What else do we miss in your opinion?

      • http://www.dirtywindows.hu/ Endless Nameless

About Opera 31 Stable – Missing features:

        Full profile sync. (Passwords etc.)
        Toolbar and GUI layout customisation.
        M2 Mail on Linux or:

New M2 Mail without Presto (built in)
        +RSS Reader
        Temp downloads folder
        2FA for Opera Link
        HWA Smooth scrolling
Custom Network connection and local cache settings
And much more power user stuff.

In my opinion at the features side Opera Browser feels more Technical Preview than Vivaldi Browser after 2 year of development. SHAME. To be fair, at least the GUI is nice and superfast. The software itself is really stable. (Compared to Chrome.)

      • Apocalypse

Im sorry. I meant no offence. Its just, im wainting for features that will probably never come. What i miss?
Wrap to multiple lines. I have many tabs open and your solution with button doesnt fit to me. I miss wrap.
Ability to change elements of GUI. I really miss it.
ctrl + number shortcuts in Speed dial.
Ability to move Speeddial line from bottom to where i want.
Cmon. Criticism should be good for you. Do you really want to end in Vivaldi Team?
There r many others things that i miss from Old Opera, but i know this is not OLD Opera, so i will not demand Mail Client. I understand that. But asking save or open. Cmon. You can do it.
        Have nice day and greetings.

        • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

Criticism and feedback is something I am really looking for here.

          Is this list complete?

          • Lacedaemon

What if the list would be complete, you never talk to your userbase about a roadmap of (requested or not) features.

          • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

We don’t share the roadmap, because we talk only about the work done. Solutions, not plans.

          • Lacedaemon

Right, ok. You ‘ve made it perfectly clear (and we already knew) that you don’t care about features and options. So please give solutions to those issues I’ve mentioned above before moving your beta versions to stable and make the browser at some time useable, which means it shouldn’t blink like it used to not do in previous Presto versions. Solutions please.

          • Bali505

The only thing I’m missing is this minor thingy:

In ‘Fullscreen’ modus it would be nice to show up (pop in) the tab bar with all the open tabs to select, when tipping the top of the screen with the mouse-pointer.

            Thanks for Opera o/

          • Apocalypse

This list is probably not complete. Should i write the comlete one? Would you even read it?

          • feamoignargfaionakfj9ajfopamjv

Yes, please. I too love Opera 12.

      • Gloriam

Some more choice in what we want to do with our downloads would be nice!

        • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

Could you please be more specific?

          • Gloriam

I think the best way to see what I mean is opening Opera 12.17 and download a file, that’s the kind of functionality I’d like to see and probably many others. 🙂

When we click on a download file, give us the option to open it directly, save (how it works now) or save as and of course cancel the download, in case some site tries to push an installer onto us.

          • escruting

            – Make the “time remaining” more detailed, “1 hour” and “1h59m” are displayed as “2 hours”. Can’t you put “1h59m” instead of just “1 hour” or “2 hours”?. Right now it is really not useful displaying the time.
            – Make it so you can just “open” a file temporarily without downloading and it showing on the download list.
            – If we have the “Downloads” tab opened, make the time remaining appear on the title of the tab.
            – Please allow right click on the downloads popup. If we had this we would have “open containing folder”, gaining a LOT in productivity.

            Thanks.

          • SQL

+1 for adding an “Run” option, like in pretty much any other browser out there. (Temporarily downloads the file, and lets you run it. Then deleted)

I’ve been asking for this since O18 I believe.

          • Rafael Luik

like in pretty much any other browser out there

Not really. Firefox is pretty much the only one and it doesn’t offer that to .exe files.

          • NimeshT

Not just firefox, even IE does it and Opera (Presto) did it too. Probably that’s the only thing I like about IE which is missing in Opera (blink).

I hate downloading lot of files which I just need to see once and then discard but I’ve to go to download folder and delete them which is an additional step and it can be easily avoided if this functionality is supported.

      • https://www.bizarrepedia.com/ Liam Enoch

Install Opera 12.x and you see what users miss – everything.

Without that, it’s impossible to compete against Chrome/MS/Apple.

But Vivaldi is already doing it. I doubt new Opera workers and devs even ever used good old Opera…

      • Olli

Come on…just take a look at the guys over there at Vivaldi, you know what’s missing.

  • http://paulkoval.com/ Paul K.

Are you going to fix Win95-style scrollbar in Windows 10 without using any 3rd-party extensions?

    • Kev87

It is already fixed in Opera 33. When this version was in beta, there was the Alternative Native Theme-flag, but it seems that it is removed in this version.

      • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

Yes, we work to fix it.

  • Aoyagi

“We’re also looking into more privacy opportunities within the browser now that SurfEasy has joined Opera.”

Would you kindly expand on that, please? And while you’re at it, you could explain your business model as those two things are tied.

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

If you read this blog, you will know as the first one.

      • Aoyagi

You mean that VPN client? That doesn’t seem to be related to the browser…

By the way they say their business model is transparent, but I can’t see any info about it other than there’s a limited free account and premium accounts.

  • L33t4opera

Hi Zhenis, thanks for the article, and congrats to the Developers on to the first release of the Opera 32 stable! 😉

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

@L33t4opera:disqus, I’ve been waiting for your comment 🙂 Thanks and welcome.

  • Lacedaemon

I’ve reported these in the beta stream, you ‘ve brought them to Stable without fixing them… Gratz. You only rush to meet your (their) deadlines with no concern about fixing your bugs and not to speak about the lack of features since O31…

So here they are again so that you can (maybe) fix them in the… Stable stream, which is supposed to be flawless, the non-problematic version for the user…

    1. Creating a new window (initial window is maximized) and dragging it with the mouse from the maximized state to another place does this:http://s16.postimg.org/ctebo3ftx/image.png
Creating a new private window (initial window is maximized) and dragging it with the mouse from the maximized state to another place does this:http://s23.postimg.org/xzb0vtq8r/npw.png

    3. Middle-click on bookmarks in unsorted bookmarks don’t opens them in a background tab. In some folders it does, in others it does not as well.

    4. Opera cuts toolbar icons and shows only 7 of them when the window is snapped to a side.

“3. Middle-click on bookmarks in unsorted bookmarks don’t opens them in a background tab. In some folders it does, in others it does not as well.”

@aiphed:disqus I can’t seem to reproduce that. What happens if you move such bookmark to some other folder?

      • Lacedaemon

It depends on where I’d put it, as I’ve said, in some folders middle-mouse clicking on bookmarks does not work, in others it does.

      • escruting

I am reproducing it on Beta and on Stable. Middle click not working on unsorted bookmarks and not working on my folders.

        • Rafał Chłodnicki

Thanks. So related to having enough items so that scrollbar appears.

    • FoolOfATook

To be fair (and I know this post is months old), that’s arguably less their problem and more upper management’s. The devs weren’t the ones that made the decision to originally drop Presto, and they certainly weren’t the ones that made the decision to turn the company into an ad company. No, they are the ones that get hit by the boot because the company no longer truly cares about its product, which makes it extremely ironic and sardonic that you’re shitting on them of all people.

  • http://mustafahasturk.com Mustafa Hastürk

These were already done by other browsers.

  • Dark Magician

Integrate SurfEasy for private browsing, you won’t get user otherwise.

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

I don’t fully get. Could you please explain in a different way?

      • Dark Magician

Automatic VPN connection when in private browsing.

        • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

why not the whole browser connection?

          • SQL

I’m fairly sure nobody wants the extra latency from using a VPN as default. While private browsing – fine, because you’re most likely doing something you don’t want others to see, and latency may not be as critical. But during a normal browsing session i don’t want a single millisecond extra to my latency.

          • Nekomajin43

So after I get the update, Opera will use the VPN automatically all the time, or it is an option?

          • SuperTommy

            Just an option, I believe.

          • Dark Magician

Point being that most uninformed user think that private browsing gives them what VPN does.
This is your opportunity to be unique. Since you thrown away most of the uniqueness, and you will lose more users to Vivaldi, because your core user (me included) base loves power options.
You should really start paying users for feature ideas.

          • jedy123

Some people seem very impatient for features in Opera yet somehow are happy waiting forever for a bug ridden tech preview to go stable.

          • Dark Magician

If you talk about Vivaldi, yes we are.
Opera clearly chose to abandon it’s roots. Which is not to say it’s a bad browser still better than Chrome, it’s just empty compared to itself.

  • Cjcr

Spelling error: “Opera 32: Privacy is AN universal right”. 😀

    • kapsi

      No, “a”

    • Kurt Zon

Sorry, but Privacy is A universal right 😉

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

No problem, originally I wrote as you mentioned. But it is good to have Documentation team to find mistakes like that 🙂

  • dflyra

If I hadn’t visited the blog I wouldn’t had discovered the update, which I manually downloaded & installed (from your FTP): why is that?
Mouse gestures are basic but adequate with one serious exception: tab scrolling. Please add this, I’m forced to use extensions for just one gesture!

    • https://www.bizarrepedia.com/ Liam Enoch

Opera for desktop is a dead project anyway… they stopped caring long time ago.

      • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

Based on your logic I am a zombie 🙂

      • Marko Koivuniemi

There are users with different needs – I use browser all the time but for some reason I’ve never liked mouse gestures. So it’s difficult to judge Opera if your pet feature is not there because company must think bigger picture and audience. Vivaldi is implementing a lot of things I would like to see come back to Opera (tab stacks etc) but for example mail client is not one of them.

      • dflyra

I certainly do not agree. Opera has gone a long way since v.15 and has matured. It is a fast, smooth & highly customizable browser. On the other hand, some flaws are still there, one of them being the non customizable & incomplete mouse gestures. Also, If the devs could introduce nested dials (i.e. folders) in the speed dial – which even now is unique and the absolute best of all browser’s-native & extension speed dials – that would be a giant kill and a competition eliminator!

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

We have the gradual update. More users will get the updated version gradually over two days, if everything works ok.

It is needed, because we want to make sure that if we have a critical bug found only on the stable channel, we can fix it without affecting all users.

  • Falconet

Oh well, on ChaletOS 14.04.3 64-bit (Xubuntu based), just wow.

    No speed dial.

    • L33t4opera

Hi, you can run the Opera together with the switch as follows: /usr/bin/opera --disable-gpu-compositingIf this doesn’t help, try to disable the use of GPU as follows: /usr/bin/opera --disable-gpuIn case, that this works, then instead of the switch, you can disable it within the UI: go to Settings > Browser, scroll down to the “Advanced settings”, and tick the checkbox on the left of the “Show advanced settings”, then under the “System”, untick the checkbox on the left of the “Use hardware acceleration when available”, and restart the Opera.

In case, that you’re using one of the default X11 (open source) drivers, like nouveau, or radeon, then you can try to replace it with the proprietary driver, which is offered by the manufacturer of your video card – you can find more info about it: here, here, and here.

      • Falconet

I already disabled hardware acceleration. Opera is slower.

I don’t want to replace the radeon driver with the AMD one.
        I’ll wait for a fix.

        • L33t4opera

Ok, but maybe you can try to disable only the GPU compositing (the first switch), instead of completely disabling the hardware acceleration?

          • Falconet

Actually I cleaned the cache and it seems to be fine again.
Weird… but it seems to be good so yay!

Got same thing. Just disable hardware acceleration and it will work (its generally safer with Chromium-based browsers to have this disabled on Linux).

      • http://www.dirtywindows.hu/ Endless Nameless

CPU bottleneck, got even worse. 🙁 Damm unused GPU…

        • Falconet

Disabling hardware accelerating works but it does seem to be sluggish…

          • kraju

It may be a placebo 🙂 Assuming that you have modern PC (I mean Core 2 Duo or newer…) it works just fine most of the time. Chromium has longstanding list of issues with Linux acceleration, probably due to buggy drivers (I’ve got this garbled screen on Intel HDxxxx, do you have Intel graphics as well?). So maybe someday, vendors will fix their drivers, and Chromium/Opera will do proper acceleration… but it’s not that bad after all.

  • Matheus Bombonato

I’ve already lost count how many times I came here to complain about the sidebars.

Is that hard to save the state (width) of each extension? It’s so annoying have to resize them all te time to use them properly. 🙁

    • http://www.opera.com Zhenis Beisekov

@nom4d3:disqus, we hear what you say. We decided to keep the same size for the sidebar extensions, because we don’t want to resize web page every time you click the different extension.

      • Matheus Bombonato

That’s real sad to hear 🙁

The usability is terrible now. I use 4 sidebars extensions here (I’ve developed 3) and each one has a different optimal width.

Not even the width for the first start will be remembered? Btw right now I have to press CTRL+Shift+S every single time I open Opera to show the sidebar. This is another annoying drawback.

        • kapsi

Maybe your extensions shouldn’t depend on page width.

          • Matheus Bombonato

They are basically wrappers for other services which I don’t have any control. Vivaldi aproach is much better with their webpanels. That was a clever idea.

      • Vux777

remembering state of sidebar buttons list between sessions and
vertical button to open/close it is crucial thing for sidebar
        it would largely improve usability

  • Vux777

btw. you forgot to mention third (middle) option on bookmarks view mode
I think this is a first stable with that view, smaller thumbnails

    • dflyra

Which is useless as it is. Better one switch button to toggle views!

  • Lacedaemon

btw. you forgot to mention that you’ve added (in the negative scale) the feature “sharing your Bookmarks”: Opera 26 for computers: My way to share bookmarks

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/max1cp?feature=mhum Maxim

Now that we have password sync, will we have sync web interface to select what we want to sync and what we do not? With options what things should be synchronized with which devices etc. Also, extensions sync?

    • SuperTommy

Go to settings to choose what to sync.

      • Falconet

Yeah but he is asking for a web interface to do so. Not on Opera itself.

      • http://www.youtube.com/user/max1cp?feature=mhum Maxim

I don’t have any sync options in settings. And even if I did I want to choose what should be synced to which device. I don’t want same sync settings on all devices.

        • SuperTommy

          opera://settings/syncSetup

I understand what you want. I’m just answering on what is possible at this very moment, and maybe you get some functionality out of the current sync options. The other things can the developers take note of.

          • http://www.youtube.com/user/max1cp?feature=mhum Maxim

Thanks, this command works. But I can’t select what to synchronize. All checkboxes are grayed out. How come there isn’t a way to access this menu in settings…?

This still doesn’t fix my issue though. I want to be able to choose separate sync options for each instance of Opera.

Also, is there a way to remove/edit the things that are on the server?

          • SuperTommy

There’s access to it. Settings -> Browser, then on the very top you have a “Synchronization” field, with the button “Advanced configuration”

I agree that could be a useful feature. In the settings have a list of all connected devices, and customize for each one.

          • http://www.youtube.com/user/max1cp?feature=mhum Maxim

Umm, no there isn’t an “Advanced configuration” button there. Sigh. This actually bothers me a lot. I have had to deal with these types of issues forever now in the new Opera. Every single time I do a fresh install on a new device there’s some random things missing or some new useless features like speed dial discover or speeddial shortcuts in the address bar.

          • L33t4opera

Hi Maxim, to have it available, you need first log in to your account, and click on “Choose what to synchronize” in the pop-up window (or click on “Advanced Configuration” button under Settings > Synchronization), and then you can select what you want to sync.

Please go to opera:flags#sync-passwords, select “Enabled”, from the drop-down, and restart the Opera, if it’s disabled, the “Advanced configuration” is not available 😉

    • https://medium.com/@mlowicki Michał Łowicki

Why do you need separate web interface for something which can be done inside browser?

  • eXzentrik

Sync- and Tab-menu-symbol in the upper right area can no longer be hidden via opera:flags. Please make this possible via regular Opera settings. I don’t use both functions and find the symbols annoying.

  • catup

do you mean we are using surfeasy vpn when we do private browsing?

    • Enoch

      I wonder too.

      • catup

        no……

    • Mikolaj Boc

Nope. You may use it if you want to, but we do not force it on you. This is just a cross promotion.

      • siamak

it’s free to use surfeasy or we must pay for that?

        • SuperTommy

It says on their website it’s free of usage for 500mb/month, with options to increase it.

          • John Smith

Checkout Tunnelbear, also free 500mb/m. They have more transparent policy regarding data collection.

      • catup

I was using it. But sometimes I failed to download something when the websites need an IP identification. Then, I gave up.

      • catup

Thank you for replying. Well, after many many years, ADs comes again in Opera browser.

The “new” privacy seems a really cool feature but i still miss the Opera 12 customizations plus IRC and this is something your opponent Vivaldi will get with time, be smart and dont lose your not so big market share from them. 😉

  • TomEk

I have still a lot of problems with audio/video streaming.

For example the youtube HTML5 player does not work very often. For example this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRs0Kw2rUVQ

    On other web-pages

Very often if there is an add before a film I get an error

    Example: http://kobieta.gazeta.pl/kobieta/1,147984,18680378,siersc-psa-i-kota-jak-sobie-z-nia-radzic.html#BoxVidImg

The problem of audio streaming I have for example at http://tunein.com or http://www.shoutcast.com

There is a problem with all radio stations.

I use OpenSuse 13.2 with Gnome

    • eXzentrik

Opera doesn’t support the H.264 codec under Linux as of yet. Try a not working YouTube video in Firefox or Chrome – if it works there, it’s because of the H.264 codec. There are some possible workarounds – but to be honest: they are complicated and not for normal users. I would use another primary browser instead until Opera supports the codec officially.

      • TomEk

In Firefox or Chrome every thing is fine.

But what is with the audio?

        • Andrew Andreyuk

          Same thing with mp3 😛

    • L33t4opera

Hi, you can try to follow the below steps:
      1. Install the “chromium-ffmpeg” package from packman (you can find more info about it, here) – for the openSUSE 13.2 x86_64, you can find it here.
      2. After you install it, open a terminal window, and execute the below commands as root (or other user with administrator privileges):cd /usr/lib64/opera && mkdir lib_extra && cd lib_extra
      ln -s /usr/lib64/chromium/lib/libffmpeg.so libffmpeg.so.32

      • TomEk

Thank you – this is the solution. The video and audio work very well.

      • TomEk

Unfortunately after installing the newest opera is had stooped to work 🙁

        • L33t4opera

Hi, rename “libffmpeg.so.32” to “libffmpeg.so.33”, or delete the lib_extra folder, navigate to the installation root folder (check the path in opera:about), and change to the resources subdir, open the ffmpeg_preload_config.json file in your text editor, and replace /usr/lib/chromium-browser/libs/libffmpeg.so with /usr/lib64/chromium/lib/libffmpeg.so 😉

          • TomEk

Thank you – it works 🙂

  • catup

It takes several seconds to open the Setting page.

    • Kornelia Mielczarczyk

  • Gustav Ekner

Thank you very much for password sync, a feature I’ve been waiting for a long time.

  • Alexander

Please make ability to reload speed dial preview images via F5 on speed dial page or individually (via pressing edit/update) as it was before.

  • Cryio

My God, Opera 32 is now almost unbearable on Windows 10.

Snapping a window to half the screen freezes all the content on that snapped window unless you mess with that window 50 freakin’ times.

I mean, it was slightly bad and annoying in previous version of Opera but it’s atrocious in version 32.

  • Pavel Aleksandrov

Is the bookmark/speed dial duplication fixed in this version when using sync?

    • SuperTommy

I’ve seen comments on it saying it’s fixed. But I’ve never had the problem myself, so I can’t be certain.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/max1cp?feature=mhum Maxim

It’s not fixed. Just got duped speed dials… I think it only happens when you sync with the phone. I just cleared all my data on all browsers and sync data on servers. Everything was good until I logged into sync on the phone.

  • pidgin

why does lastpass STILL keep logging out every time I close browser?

    • Falconet

Because it may be part of its normal routine?
I know passwordbox does the same.

  • http://pedro.albuquerques.net Pedro Albuquerque Santos

“For the time being, it will be available on desktop only, with a rollout on other platforms to come later this year.” Looking forward to have password sync on Android. I really hope that we still see it in 2015 (even if it is only in beta).

  • Юлия

Can I remove the + button from bookmarks bar? Or move it to far right? You can add bookmarks via drag and drop the tab or address bar. It’s very unusual to not have bookmarks to far left.

Also, can I pin Opera portable to taskbar without creating multiple icons? Pinning launcher.exe is what I did and it’s not really working.

    https://i.imgur.com/fgFArbH.jpg

    • SuperTommy

Pinning Opera portable creating multiple icons is a known issue.

      • Юлия

I guess I’ll have to live with that. I’ll pin it to Start. But any way to move the + button?

        • SuperTommy

It will probably be fixed soon enough. 🙂 About the + icon, I’m pretty sure you can’t unfortunately.

  • Alex Parker

*sigh* Why does “trashing” my bookmarked site deletes it from Speed Dial too? Isn’t it a nobrainer that Speed Dial and Bookmarks should be different things?

    • Nekomajin43

The speeddial is a folder in the bookmarks.

    • Mikolaj Boc

Thanks for your input in the other comment 😉 I’ll assume the uppercase part was a mistake made by a cat randomly pressing some keys on your keyboard and need us to take a look at the issue written in lowercase.

“We may collect and disclose personal information, including your usage data, to governmental authorities or agencies, including law enforcement agencies, at their request or pursuant to a court order, subpoena or other legal process, if there is a good faith belief that such collection or disclosure is required by law”

“We may also collect information such as your name, address, phone number and payment information in connection with your purchase of our products and services. ”
    From SurfEasy.

    Soooo, yeah, that sounds private.

    • chris

      Hi there,

Im the founder of SurfEasy and now SVP of Privacy Products at Opera. Thought I’d jump in on this very important topic.

We created SurfEasy with the goal of making online privacy solutions more accessible. We have spent a great deal of time working with the privacy community to design a solution that maintains the minimum information required to operate our service. You might be interested in
reading some more in depth Q&A on our privacy policy and service in a
Reddit AMA with myself and our Privacy advisor Dr Michael Geist (also board advisor to EFF) :

      https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1h1y0t/i_am_michael_geist_a_law_professor_at_the/

I’d like to clarify the section of the privacy policy you selected.

Related to collecting your name, address etc… This is entirely optional and related to managing your account and paying for service.
We also support payment through Bitcoin so there’s no need to disclose
your identity to provide even greater privacy protection. https://www.surfeasy.com/blog/surfeasy_vpn_now_accepts_bitcoin/

Related to usage data retention. Our philosophy is “Privacy by Design” to that end our system is designed to maintain no records that link your identity to your specific online activities. By doing so, there is very little information we have to provide if compelled to do so.

One of the challenges with the VPN space is that it is very difficult for even the most technically sophisticated user to understand who to
trust. It is very easy for anyone to make claims around their privacy policy, however standing behind that is often very difficult. There have been several examples this year alone of seemingly reputable providers managing users data inconsistent with their users expectations.
One of the reasons I’m so excited that SurfEasy is part of Opera is that
we provide a clear reputable choice and you know who’s standing behind the privacy policy.

Hope this is helpful and sorry for the late response

      Chris

      • taneli

Thank you for your reply, Chris.

You seem to be doing good work, but the privacy policy could be a bit clearer, on when, and what data you collect.

Also read the AMA, chuckled a bit at “Have you ever considered changing your first name to Polter?”

I’m just one of those tinfoil hat techies that has trust issues.

        Best to you.

  • http://www.dirtywindows.hu/ Endless Nameless
  • KN

Lol. Yeah, you care so much about privacy, yet STILL sitecheck ALL pages visited through Opera with no way to disable it! All site URL requests are being sent to Akamai and sitecheck.opera.com and I am sure being sold considering Opera’s is now more an advertising entity than software maker. Every other browser allows one to disable their “malware/fraud check”
stuff except Opera. It is even IN Chromium so Opera must purposely spend
effort to REMOVE it for Opera.

I brought this up WAY back in version 23 for peats sake and ignored since. And is reason I refuse to use Opera now after being biggest fan. Until I see my router logs no more spurious traffic to unknown sources from Opera, you can talk about new features all you want, I won’t go near it.

    • Mikolaj Boc

Will take that into consideration, thanks for your time.

    • Mikolaj Boc

An issue for that has just been created. Please look for DNA-43657 in changelogs, but please give us some time.

  • Joe438

I really really like this release. There are a good number of improvements that have been made with this version that I have been looking forward to for a long time.

I am frustrated a bit with the nasty, sarcastic comments made to the Opera staff that I do not feel contribute to this blog. Is there a way that moderators could clean up some of the less productive comments here?

    • Mikolaj Boc

We do not aim to shut anyone up. If someone means to provide us with criticism and does not use coarse language, we will obviously not remove their comment. Openness is something we stand for in the end.

      • Joe438

I can appreciate compliments, pointing out bugs and recommending changes, but trolling and abuse? not so much. Being able to constructively discuss the development of Opera is hindered by commenters (usually the same people too) who tell those that support Opera and or just want to test the browser that Opera is not worth their time and they should go use another browser. After being told this over and over again it gets rather frustrating. We get it. He doesn’t like Opera, but I do like Opera. I don’t think I should be attacked for liking Opera (I am including Opera staff and fans of Opera among those that support Opera).

Openness is one thing, but I am referring to enforcement of the Commenting Policy located in the sidebar to the right. Criticism of Opera should be constructive and polite. Too often it is just rude, unconstructive, and sarcastic.

When comments like that go unpoliced and are either encouraged or responded to they will thrive and discourage if not drive away those that want to help with the development of Opera.

        • Lacedaemon

You’ve been wanting to play the role of a mod replacing Opera’s mods and teaching them how to do… their job for quite some time now, I think you got your answers in the best possible way. Now I’d suggest you can make a pause, it’s getting tiresome together with your “ethical” talk.

P.S. I remember that avatar of yours with a different name, is it maybe that you were banned and you want to troll the mods and the whole blog out of revenge?

          • Vux777

but….you are one of the biggest trolls here
afraid to be censured and pulling a strawman?

          • Lacedaemon

I have just reported you. It isn’t the 1st time you name people.

          • Vux777

            drama…

          • Lacedaemon

            Comment Policy:
            – Zero-tolerance for harassment of individuals
            – Avoid one-word comments

I guess Joe438 is right after all. You should have been banned a long time ago.

          • Vux777

            nice try…
didn’t you just recently selling some lame gay jokes
            like:” suck, sucking…feels good,right..”
            and that sort of things?

and now whining about someone calling you troll?

go count your up-votes… it’s your only purpose

          • Lacedaemon

after you attacked me with personal insults? sure. As I’ve said, your ass should have been banned a long time ago for those personal attacks against me. I guess now that Joe438 mentioned it you are in the line.

          • Vux777

don’t manipulate with what Joe438 wrote
and don’t whine about your imaganery personal insults

          • Lacedaemon

“imaganery” hahah you just called me “biggest troll” 2 lines above, which is the definition of harassment, nice try, you little lier. You really want me to remind the mods how many times you attacked me in the most vulgar manners, calling me names etc -and btw it’s only you in this blog-, do you?

        • Marcin Mitek

I deleted the comments below. They didn’t bring anything to discussion, sorry. Any further attempts that will turn out to be just personal stuff – ban. Permanent one.

    • Marcin Mitek

Hi Joe. I am moderating the comments mostly on Desktop Blog, and I avoid deleting comments, at least lately (be it 1-2 months). Even if the comment is a criticism, I have no reason to delete it unless it breaks our simple rules – link to them is available in the blog’s sidebar. So… I could delete more, or intervene more often, but then, I might be accused of censorship and stuff like that.

It’s a delicate thing, but thank you for your comment, I’ll look closely at the comments from now on.

      • Joe438

Thank you for taking a closer look at these posts and in the (developer and beta posts too I hope).

Don’t worry about being accused of censorship. You can’t please everyone all the time. I know that when Opera removes comments they have been quite careful about it and often go the extra mile and explain why comments are removed. I am sure many of those that want to test the browser (developer or beta) and support Opera will appreciate seeing less trolling or continually being told to stop supporting Opera and go to another browser or hearing that Opera is dead. Those types of comments are not very constructive and is often frustrating to other commenters. Friendly reminders from the moderators often work wonders too.

Is there a way to send private messages to the moderators for when something needs to be discussed more privately whether it be in the forums or here?

        • jedy123

I agree with your comments. I know of one national newspaper site here in the UK that is overzealous in deleting comments so it’s good to hear Opera are taking a grown up approach.

  • led9ru

Synchronization – How can I check that the Opera does not have access to my password(and othe stuff)? Or I can just believe?

    • Sigbjørn Vik

Your local installation of the Opera browser has full access to all of your stuff, it couldn’t operate without it.

Any communication between the local Opera installation and the Opera servers is done encrypted, so nobody else can access this. There are two types of synchronized data; sensitive data, and regular data. Regular data is bookmarks, open tabs, etc. Sensitive data is currently only passwords.

Regular data is available to the Opera servers, this makes for easy synchronization, and recovery mechanisms. Sensitive data is additionally password protected, so the server where it is stored cannot access it.

The default password for sensitive data is your account password. Opera servers do not know, nor store this password (only a hash of it). When you log in, your password is sent to the login service, afterwards you are redirected to the synchronization service. The password is never available to the synchronization service. If you are concerned about using the account password, you can use a custom passphrase instead, one which is never revealed to any Opera servers. Of course, should you forget that passphrase, there would be no way to recover the passwords stored on our synchronization service.

We take your security seriously, and have no interest in accessing your passwords. We have been given users’ trust, and need to safeguard that. We invest a lot in making sure that all passwords stored on our systems are secure, even if the service itself somehow should be compromised.

      • bonnerama

Why don’t you consider “bookmarks, open tabs, etc.” to be sensitive data?

        • Sigbjørn Vik

We consider all of your data to be sensitive, to be kept private 🙂 Passwords are more sensitive than other data, so we have chosen to implement additional protections for them, and we call such data by a different name. We might as well have called bookmarks “sensitive”, and passwords “extra sensitive”, this is just a naming scheme.

          • bonnerama

Thanks for the response. I bet most users would want their bookmarks and tabs to be synced and stored encrypted as well.

  • SKS

It’s my default browser since i like chromium but not google chrome and taking opera as less processor and memory hogging than chrome. Have been waiting for new update long time since 31.0.1889.174. Although update cycle is little bit slow, but no problem as long as it is stable. Now plz add extension and theme sync feature.

  • SKS

Why scroll bar UI has not been changed on windows even on this update? been seeing this old UI since windows 10. Or do you just care UI for mac?

    • Mikolaj Boc

We DO care about Windows, that is why we are creating a solution that will work correctly in all DPI settings. You can see it working fully in new developer builds.

      • SKS

Issue is scroll bar should have drak scroll button with white scroll bar, now it is exactly opposite, rendering scroll bar of like windows 98.

        • dflyra

Choose one of the many extension scroll bars. I use scroll bar diet.

          • SKS

If I have to use extension even for basic UI of browser, no use of using chrome or opera. I am not a fan of extensions. Just use must have(for me) extension (adblock).

          • dflyra

By looking at the developer -> task manager the afore-mentioned scrollbar extension does not consume cpu or memory and, in addition, saves browsing space. I know that most of a browser functions must be incorporated in the browser but still you cannot have everything, and extensions help a lot!

      • Damian eDameXxX Stępnik

7 weeks after official launch Windows 10.
        2 more stable Opera builds.

Many requests and suggestions… and scroll bar still looks bad.

You can see it working fully in new developer builds

I have latest compilation 33.0.1982.0 (don’t see any updates) and this problem is still there.

Edit: OK, I see “Alternative native theme” flag but it disabled by default.

The bookmark sharing button is missing since Opera 32. In bookmark pop up the number of images to choose from is not visible.
    Twitter video is black:
    https://twitter.com/BabyAnimalPics/status/631830082756169728
Please fix this. (Windows 7 pro 32bit).

    • Lacedaemon

It won’t be back. They have silently killed it.

      • blue_screen

Bookmark sharing is still mentioned in on-line help and Zhenis as Product Manager should know about it but wrote nothing about a change. So I consider the missing button a bug.

        • Lacedaemon

Keep waiting for a response, it’s not gonna happen 🙂 I know, it sucks. This has been planned since O32 went dev 3 months ago, see line in the changelog:

“DNA-40910 Phase 1 of shutting down share, remove the share button in the BM manager “

          It’s not a bug, it’s R.I.P.

It will be interesting if they ‘ll answer you though – which again, won’t happen, otherwise why haven’t they said a thing since June (O32 dev)? 🙂
Anyway, the PR version of the truth: – “no one uses it”
The truth: They ‘re cutting costs wherever they can since Opera browser is “feature complete & finalized” for the heads in the HQ, long time ago. Why you think they ‘ve closed the Oslo Desktop team in April?

  • muratservan

    Animated themes look so good.
And finally there is password sync. I hope we’ll see extension sync and better speed dial in next version.

PS: Netflix is not available in my country :/

  • To Ny

Opera never warns the user when he closes the browser while downloading something. It’s really annoying. All the browsers display a warning message. It’s a very basic feature. I know there is an addon, but I don’t want to install an addon for such a basic feature 🙂

    • BK

Hi, warning will be added soon. Sorry for delay.

      • To Ny

Good news ! Thanks Opera 🙂

      • Nekomajin43

How about showing a warning every time I want to close the browser? As an option, of course.

        • eXzentrik

+1 for a warning dialogue when more than one tab is open.

          • Nekomajin43

Even if one tab or another window is open.

    • dflyra

And do you think that downloading speed is low compared to other browsers? I am forced to use an external download accelerator (not that it is necessarily bad).

  • jedy123

Since upgrading to Opera 32 (I’m on OSX 10.9.5), I’ve noticed it opens in a small window and not fullscreen like it always has. Is there a bug?

Did you release it? My Opera keeps saying it’s updated (31.0).

    • ayespy

They roll out the updates gradually over a few days. Everyone doesn’t get it at once. You can update manually if you like. I did.

      • kik1n

Oh Dude, I have scared me for a moment. I thought I had a problem with opera.

Yes. Thanks for the report; it’s being investigated already.

Old UI ISSUE: On right clicking on speed dial and Edit, old windows button of OK and Cancel is shown.

    • Mikolaj Boc

We’ve gotten rid of this problem on developer. Check it out with the “Alternative native theme” in opera://flags

  • 59er

Theme keeps defaulting to Raindrops. I’ll set to one of my themes and after closing, Opera re-opens with Raindrops.

  • bartho

Hello, with Opera 31 you changed the tab cycling via CTRL+TAB from “left to right” (order) to “last visited”. Luckily I could changed this via opera:flags, but now with Opera 32 this setting is resetted again and there’s no flag anymore to switch back.
I’m a person who cannot and don’t want to remember which tabs I visited recently in which order. I want so cycle in the order they’re visible (from left to right) because the eyes are much better and faster than my memory.

So my question: How can I change my tab cycling back to the old way (order) instead of “recently visited”?

    • SuperTommy

Of course you can. Settings > Browser, scroll down to User Interface and tick off the checkbox for “Cycle tabs in most recently used order”.

      • bartho

Thank you very much. It worked. I though to complicated and didn’t even though the possibility that this option could be moved to the regular settings page.

  • N8eule

Adding bookmarks is different now. Although I like this new style Iam missing one important thing: the number of possible thumbnails for this bookmark. I really liked that and without it Iam having problems to keep track of it. Can you please bring it back or make it optional for those who want it?

  • John Smith

Hello. Today when I looked at my speed dial, I thought my PC got a malware.

While I understand you need money, please reconsider adding sponsored websites on updates. I believe no other browser does that on update!

I have been using Opera for the last 10 years, but lately I am really not sure how it is better than Vivaldi, Comodo Dragon, Torch, or Yandex Browser.

At my work PC, I have already switched to Chrome because of better extension support, security, plug-in sandboxing & WebRTC blocking. You can also opt-out from tracking (google), delete cookies for each website by clicking on the address bar and they don’t change links in my browser.

Honestly, I kept quiet when people were criticizing Opera for the decision about dropping version 12 because I believed you guys know better and understand users. I wish you all the best and hope that you will understand that users want a personal browser; one, which they can trust.

  • XypherCode

On Mac the browser does not start maximized at every launch. osx 10.10.5
This is a very annoying bug on a stable release…

    • Olli

Does this also happen when closing all windows and opening a new window? I already reported this bug weeks ago, they said they already fixed it internally and it’s still not even fixed in the most recent developer snapshot.

      • XypherCode

Yes, actually. At the very least this only happened after I updated from the previous stable release. I haven’t encountered this on the other channels, or at least not yet.

        • Olli

You don’t have this on the dev channel? That’s odd.

          • XypherCode

Yeah both beta and dev looks fine.

    • SuperTommy

It’s a known issue. Hopefully fixed very soon.

    • Ascendus77

I’ve the same problem on OSX 10.11, it’s annoying. And memory consumption still very high…

My Speed Dial is severely borked! repeated images of top left square of browser. On Linux 64

  • dflyra

    One remark & one suggestion:
    1. Speed dial, sometimes, seems to have a will of its own. Today it rearranged the tiles (I didn’t lose anything). Also, when syncing from my other computer, multiple similar folders & urls appear in the bookmarks (again: I don’t lose anything, just going through the process of deleting the duplicates).
    2. Either introduce nested folders in the speed dial (the absolute best), and/or – at least – add spacers to separate tiles with the same type of contents (i.e different lines for Video/Audio, Shopping etc. tile folders)

  • Cehd

1- Cannot create new folder in unsorted bookmarks field. Is this a new decision you make? Or is it a bug? It was very useful when creating folder in here.

2- Where did the “create new folder with selection” option go? Is it a bug again?

    • Rafał Chłodnicki

      1. It’s a policy common to Opera Desktop and mobile. I don’t think it’s very new.
      2. A missing feature after internal rewrite.

      • Cehd

        1. Windows 7 here. I happen to see the problem after Opera 32 update. It is a policy that I cannot understand but thanks for answer.
        2. Then I’ll just hope it’s comeback, because it was useful and simple.

        • Rafał Chłodnicki

          1. I don’t necessairly fully agree with that policy, but it kinda makes sense when the folder is called ‘Unsorted’. If you start sorting things into folders then it’s not unsorted anymore. The idea is that you move stuff out of that folder if you want them sorted.

          2. For reference – DNA-43930

    • Vux777

1-you ca do that only with bookmarks extension

      • Cehd

        Thanks for answering.

  • iPristy

I think you done it Opera, C&C online game works like a champ, FF browser sucks big time. Keep up the great work. The only problem are bookmarks if i don’t want to saved them online then have to use FF again to transfer them to Opera but that’s OK, i think i can overlook that problem. Delete browser history on exit that would be heaven too.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/max1cp?feature=mhum Maxim

Try history eraser or history disabler extensions.

  • Alex Sable

the extension ‘To-Read sites’ (https://addons.opera.com/ru/extensions/details/to-read-sites ) doesn’t work with this version.. would be great to have it again..))

  • To Ny

It’s really sad that the newspapers chosen for the Discover feature ask people to pay to read the articles… There are enough free newspapers ! In the french version, this feature is less and less useful because of that. It’s really annoying to read the title, to click and to see that you can’t read the article :/

    • BK

thanks for this information. If you could share the details about websites that require you to pay, it would be easier for us to update the feeds list.

      • To Ny

Sure. For example http://www.lexpress.fr (7 free articles, then you have to pay). I have already seen the same thing with nouvelobs.com and laprovence.com, but not always. Sometimes, it happens on lemonde.fr too.

        • BK

          Thanks, passed it further.

      • Vladimir

        DNA-38992 !!!!!!!!

        • BK

Hi Vladimir. in DNA-38992 bug you mention about translations, discover and few other things that annoy you. What is the most important for you now?

if you send us propositions list of games portals in Ukraine, it will be easier for us to add it. Thanks !

          • Vladimir

I have already sent two of the most popular gaming portal of Ukraine in the Ukrainian language:
            1. http://www.opengamer.com.ua/
            2. http://playua.net/

And two sites about technology, smart phones, OS, (IT):
            1. http://neprote.com/
            2. http://vinsee.com.ua/

I’m trying for a year to achieve the appearance of these sites in the news section of the Opera. But you ignore! But they will not promise!

          • BK

Thanks. the download translate should be fixed in about 4~5 weeks, ping everyone here if that does not happen 😉

2 sites for a category is not much, any chance for some more?

          • Vladimir

            I did not quite understand.

Only after 4-5 weeks add sites that I have written?

            Previously unable to add?

  • http://www.dailymotion.com/playlists/user/serialmania/1 Serialmania

  • SLR

Why does new speed dials appear at the top? anyway to change this back?

    • PaulW

I’ve wondered the same and why not in alphabetical order..

  • Tomas

Hello, it seems that the latest Opera stable version introduced a bug where the browser complains about corrupted .PAK files when I modify the ‘default_partners_content.json’ file in order to tweak my search engines and get rid of the defaults. Will that be fixed in the new version? Thanks.

    • Aneta Reluga

I’m afraid this has been done to prevent any malware from modifying the .json file in the same way as you do – in other words, a potential security risk has been fixed this way.

      • CrashNBurn71

Lying about something isn’t a “fix”. Telling you a file is corrupted (invalid|not usable) when the file is NOT corrupted merely “changed”.
A fix for this *NON-security issue might be:

Good Morning Crash, it appears the browser.ini file has been changed:

Would you like to restore the default, or keep the changes?
        [Restore][Keep Changes]

Keep Changes —> Overwrite default browser.ini in Program Files, requiring Admin Security permission, flag the file as do not update when Opera updates are downloaded. Include the browser.ini in “Sync”

        *NON-Security Issue:
In 16 years my Opera .ini files have been Modified by Opera.exe or by me. I’m fairly sure most (if not all) other Opera users would be able to say the same.

        Addenum:
At least its not as bad as FireFox’s “Warning about Extenions that might be slowing down FF”. The freaking WARNING slows down firefox, its a blocking message that prevents the window from continuing to render until you click on one of Ignore, Ignore Permanently, Cancel.

They are both highly misleading or outright lies obfuscating the actual truth though.

  • Dark Magician

Make Opera always prefer HTTPS over HTTP.

One example is the html5test.com, Opera opens HTTP, Firefox HTTPS so does Vivaldi.

    • Lacedaemon

It does open it in https for me.

  • Izer0

Sometimes Opera does not redraw tab, need to switch to another one and than back, sometimes need to wait for long time to redraw window even if I push Refresh button. So there is an rendering problem that does not occur in previous version.

    • Cryio

Apparently it’s a Chromium issue. One Opera dev said it’s being worked on.

I deleted some passwords on my notebook and its appears on my desktop. Sync is enabled. It’s a bug or passwords deleted don’t sync?

  • YNWA bitches!

I´ve recently started to have pop-up issues while surfing. Klicking on an arbitrary link, sometimes opens some totally unrelated sites that WOT has red-flagged. I have tried Sophos and Malwarebytes but haven´t been successful in eradicating the problem. I use Opera on Mac, which makes this even stranger.

It happens on this page, on colorline.no, youtube.com, brommando.com among others. Almost every page I´m on.

    My extensions are: Ad-block plus,

    Facebook Redirect Fixer,

    Ghostery,

    Nimbus Screen Capture,

    Redirect Bypasser,

    SpeedDial for Gmail,

    Turn Off the Lights,

    Twitter Notifications,

    Twitter Redirect Fixer,

    Video Downloader 2015,

    WOT,

    YouTube Video,

    Mp3 Downloader and

    ZenMate for Opera.

It doesn´t happen on private browsing.

I´ve got the latest Opera version. Any tips will be welcomed.

    • https://vivaldi.net/unity/profile/chas4/6-blog Chas4

Double check your extensions (see which ones don’t load in private browsing), it could be a bad (or fake) extension that is giving you the extra popups

      • YNWA bitches!

Hmmm. I disabled all extensions not allowed in private and the problem disappeared. Then, I switched them back on, one-by-one and the problem didn´t come back…

Thanks for your tip, I´ll keep an eye on the extensions and figure out which one is the culprit.

      • YNWA bitches!

Found it. It´s the YouTube Video Downloader.

After downloading several animated themes, the theme page crashes almost every time I open it. Everything goes back to normal when reloading.
PS. Is there a limit as to how many themes can someone have? I noticed (and didn’t measure exactly) that after downloading a number of themes, some previous ones disappear.

  • Dark Magician

Give us 64-bit for Windows, when you fix issues with Windows 10.

And would you clarify if you encrypt all data so you can’t read it in sync, or only passwords? If so, it is a bad practice, Firefox encrypts everything.

  • Izer0

Maybe somebody wrote about this issue, but my context popup menu show all languages selected when I want select lang for spellchecker.

      Yeap, same problem here.

More on theme reverting back to default ‘Raindrops’. Any of ‘My themes’ picked will remain upon re-opening, if I close Opera and shutdown the computer. However, when leaving the computer on, and close and re-open Opera the theme always reverts to the default (static) ‘Raindrops’ theme.
System: Windows XP Pro XP3. Opera cookie saved via CCleaner.
Noticed on the Opera browser forum the problem can exist with other Windows OS’s. No problem with a WIndows 7 system I work with.

How can I add a bookmarks toolbar in Opera 32? In Settings there’s nothing about it.

    • L33t4opera

Hi, if you mean the bookmarks bar, then you can enable/disable it in Opera’s menu > Bookmarks > Show Bookmarks Bar – you can also assign a keyboard shortcut for this feature in Settings > Shortcuts > Configure Shortcuts (opera:settings/configureCommands) > Show bookmarks bar.

Guys, why doesn’t Opera 32 work with flash 19? 🙁

    • https://vivaldi.net/unity/profile/chas4/6-blog Chas4

Try downloading the PPAPI Plug in (for Opera and Chromium)
If you visit https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ With Opera 32 you should be shown the PPAPI version of Flash Player to downlaod and install

Also check in opera://plugins/ and see if Flash Player is disabled

As of this comment the current Flash Player version is 19.0.0.185

      • 7thGear

Thanks, i have tried the 19 offline installer and these are only for NPAPI. The PPAPI works well, but only comes for an online install. Is there a PPAPI offline installer?
