The process of Opera translation seems to have gone far beyond just the browser. 🙂

  • Updated (also the same day as Apple releasing OS X 10.10.3 update)

Does the Chrom update shine when looked at?

  • By the way, OSX 10.10.3 stable released 🙂

  • Shion

Waited long for an update, but still Chrome extensions popups keep crash recently opened tabs. I wonder if I’am the only one having this bug.

  • Lacedaemon

Why did you remove the Instant-Dictionary extension with this update?
    https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/instant-dictionary/

The alternatives are not that good and far more resource-hungry. Now that was not nice.

  • VfBFan

After the update I’ve noticed that if only one tab is open, the tab has a light blue background colour. When more tabs are opened, the colour is ok (grey). Anyone else has this behaviour?

    • Carson Coyote

Yep! I noticed it after the last update, but wasn’t sure if I was the only one with the problem.

    • Yes it’s been like that for quite a while on my machine, long before the last update. Needs a fix.

Thanks good for problem #1 – after 1 hour I uninstal opera V28 an now I have just my libling opera V12

  • Shion

Nice. With each new update you keep breaking chrome extensions even more. Now I can’t even install them. Good job.

  • JJFANNUMBER1

Well, well… I’ll use Opera until Vivaldi start supporting extensions. Technical preview is already better than Opera, I just miss few extension and perfect browser is there.

  • David Clarke

    I’ve used Opera 12 since it’s release.
However I decided to try the latest stable v28. Once running it’s a pretty solid browser but the initial opening seems to take very long (about 6-7 seconds) on Win XP SP3 after booting the PC. Once opened if I close then reopen its fine, its just a very slow initial opening. I only have 2 extensions, is there a way a can speed it up?

OS X 10.10.3 (& This stable Opera build)

Add the possibility to change the default search engine and use Duckduckgo !!!!!

    • It is already there under opera://settings/ –> Search

  • OldHickory30

Why do the dials in start page, appear so much different (better) in Opera beta and developer, compared to the latest stable version 28?

  • Click to play not working on http://mashable.com/2015/04/15/monopolists-mary-pilon-mashablereads the video player seems to be behind the video controls

    OS X 10.10.3

click to play works in Safari 8.0.5

  • DIRK SCHARFF

Ok, after update nothing works anymore – so back to Firefox – Good bye
    Win 7 Ultimate

  • Does http://www.foxadhd.com/#!/home cause that tab for others to use 112% CPU In a private tab (testing with no cache etc), also causes fans to go near full spin

I think it might be the color changing background

    OS X 10.10.3

Opened the same site in Safari and Safari did not have a massive CPU spike

  • Emoji input onto Google is broken (Google has broken Emoji support in the search), tho Opera seems to have a broken Emoji when trying to search on Google if there is no space after the Emjoi (it does not show the Emoji between the – – )

  • maddim

Why the startup procedure is so slow and it takes 100% of CPU usage?

  • Opera… Why I can’t share using the “share” button in my bookmarks!?

  • L33t4opera

The Opera 29 has been promoted to the stable channel: 29.0.1795.47 😉

    Hello,
After Opera is updated automatically to 29 from 28, the extension I built doesn’t work properly. My extension icon appears in URL input box since it uses page_action. If I click the icon in URL input box, the items in input box is reloaded and my extension icon and Opera bookmark icon ( Heart icon ) disappears. Any suggestion?
