  • LOL!! I can’t believe you used that photo publicly. For our users, I would like to explain that, this is my beard photoshopped onto Aleksei’s face! 😀

    I’m of dying laughter here!!

Still pure playback performance when watching videos in 4K+full screen!!! And I now that this is Chrome based browser but if there will be(in future maybe) possibility to get function named “Set as Background” from the browser ??? Opera 12.** has it.

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). click OK to close the application.

    Hello,

Everytime I install opera stable / developer.. I need to add this in the .desktop entry after the Exec.

    –ppapi-flash-path=/usr/lib/pepflashplugin-installer/libpepflashplayer.so –ppapi-flash-version=14.0.0.177

    so that it looks like

    Exec=opera %U –ppapi-flash-path=/usr/lib/pepflashplugin-installer/libpepflashplayer.so –ppapi-flash-version=14.0.0.177

Isnt there a simpler way which persists across installs ?

  • Opera 27 does not resolve some domains correctly.

If i enter router2.intern (this is a known domain for Windows, with IP in 192.168.*.* !) Opera send this internal domain to Google search!

Oh yes, others may say: its a privacy issue sending domain in cleartext to external sites. And yes, it is a privacy berak. I dont want o reveal the domains of my internal LANs!

Why does Opera expands test11111111111111.de to http://test11111111111111.de/
    But not with other TLDs?

Seems Opera does not resolve DNS at first from NS, but uses a internal TLD list.

Opera 12, Firefox 36 and IE 11 do not such nonsense.

Is this a Chromium automattic feature, presuming that users are mostly dumb and only use Goofles TLDs?
Sorry Opera, we are not chimps!

Oh, please dont tell me, i have to enter a / at end of my domain or to prepend http:// to get the correct behaviour. Thats would be a 1995 behaviour.
Make the browser to reduce work not to icrease it.

Chromium stable is out with new version, update?

I really like Opera, but I’m basically forced to use Chrome because some small problems with Opera.

    1) Hardware accerelation and flash/HTML5 videos are choppy and low quality (even video would be 720p)

    2) Memory usage is rather high, after few hours browsing (WIN7, 8GB, Intel i7)

  • OrdinaryPeople

I’m sorry to say.. Opera Stable 27 makes my laptop crash after two times windows bluescreen error causing of memory dump.
that problem is come from the latest update of Opera browser on my laptop
I hope opera developer team do more and more testing before launch it as a stable version.

    thankyou 🙂

  • L33t4opera

The Opera 28 has been promoted to the stable channel: 28.0.1750.40 😉
